A CONSIDERED APPROACH
Different surfaces deserve different treatment.
Concrete and pavers often meet at the same entrance or patio, but they should not be treated as one material. We inspect the concrete for existing coatings, staining and surface deterioration, then consider the adjoining paver joints and finish. Runoff and overspray are part of the preparation plan. When concrete cleaning accompanies paver sealing, we coordinate the sequence so the newly prepared pavers are not soiled by later cleaning. Efflorescence on neighboring pavers receives a material-specific assessment; joint-sand restoration applies to the pavers, not the concrete. The goal is a cleaner outdoor space with clear expectations for each surface.

Can you clean concrete next to sealed pavers?
We review both surfaces and plan appropriate protection and cleaning order. Tell us about any known coatings when you request an estimate.
Does concrete cleaning restore paver joint sand?
No. Joint-sand restoration concerns the gaps between pavers. If adjoining paver joints need replenishment, we explain that work as a separate part of the scope.
Should the concrete be cleaned before the pavers are sealed?
When both are included in the project, we plan cleaning and runoff before the final paver finish. The sequence depends on the layout and surface conditions.
