Our paver sealing process. Preparation comes first.
Most sealing projects follow a deliberate two-day process. The exact sequence depends on the surface, its existing coating, and Arizona’s weather.
01
Assess the pavers
Not every property with pavers is a candidate for sealing. We consider surface condition, existing sealer, joint sand, staining, and moisture conditions before recommending the work. If sealing is unsuitable, we explain why and what should come next.
02
Clean & prepare
We protect nearby surfaces and belongings before treatment. Professional cleaning comes first, followed by specialized problem-area treatment and neutralization when required.
03
Restore the joints
We address the sand condition and height. On beveled pavers, sand generally finishes about 1/8 inch below the bottom of the chamfer. On non-beveled or tumbled pavers, it generally finishes about 1/8 inch below the top surface.
04
Give the surface time
Pavers must be sufficiently dry before sealing. Excessive heat, moisture, or unsuitable weather can change the schedule.
05
Apply the right finish
Professional electric sprayers are our primary application method. We use commercial-grade products selected for the project.
06
Explain the aftercare
We discuss return-to-use guidance and maintenance appropriate to the product and conditions on your property.
